At such an early age he displayed that his writing and speech was profound
A precious gemstone shined with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an

With utmost respect for the four Imams, he mastered the Hanafi School
He took the Sufi path from his Shaykh Hazrat as-Sayyid al-e-Rasul
A path to Allah with the teachings of Shaykh `Abdul Qadir of Jilan

Astronomy, physics, math and linguistics, just to name only a few

His Gardens of Gifts remain in full bloom, wherein seekers can quench their thirst
From its founts of love for the Prophet in which he was thoroughly immersed
Springing forth all types of spiritual poetry found in his diwan

His salam to the light of guidance is like standing in a springtime rain
As it gently falls on a field of flowers in which we wish to remain
Recited from Makkah and Madina to India and Pakistan

With the Testimony of Faith, a sweet-scented rose returned to its place
In the fragrant garden of the Prophet, by Allah's Beneficent Grace
In the month of Safar at the time of the Jumu`ah Prayer Azan
May Allah be well-pleased with A`la Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan

The sweet fragrance of this rose remains, it was carried and became widespread
By his representatives and his disciples after he passed ahead
Like Shaykh `Abdul `Aleem Siddiqui who was a global phenomenon
Long live the legacy of A`la Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan     (Amin ya Allah!)
